Supreeta Sampath strongly believes in the importance of giving back to the community and cultivating the next generation of public interest lawyers. Furthering this philosophy, Ms. Sampath extensively volunteers her time with CELA having served as a member of its Board of Directors and long time member of CELA's Diversity Outreach Committee, including as its Co-Chair.  In 2010, Ms. Sampath along with colleagues Toni Jaramilla and Bryan Schwartz founded FAIR, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote diversity within the plaintiffs' employment bar in California.

Ms. Sampath also assists legal institutions to actualize their public interest mission.  Ms. Sampath has been and is an active participant in law school programs throughout the state, including organizing and speaking at CELA/FAIR's annual Diversity Leadership Summits conducted at UC Hastings School of Law and Loyala Law School since 2011.
